40pin Universal ZIF Socket Test DIP IC

The 40pin Universal ZIF Socket is a zero insertion force (ZIF) test socket for DIP integrated circuits. Lifting the lever opens the contacts so a chip can be dropped in and taken out without bending its pins, and lowering the lever clamps it firmly in place. It is ideal for IC programmers, chip testers and any board where ICs are swapped often.
