5- Channel Flame Sensor Module

The 5- Channel Flame Sensor Module carries five infrared flame receivers arranged in an arc, so it can detect a flame over a much wider angle than a single-sensor module and tell which direction the flame is coming from. It is popular for firefighting robots, flame-tracking projects and simple fire alarms with Arduino, ESP32 and other microcontrollers.

• Sensors: 5 infrared flame receivers, one output channel each
• Detection: infrared light from flames, typically about 760–1100 nm for this sensor type
• Layout: receivers spread in an arc for wide-angle coverage and direction finding
• Supply: typically 3.3–5 V

Tip: Test with a lighter or candle at a safe distance, and keep the sensor out of direct sunlight and away from incandescent lamps, which also give off infrared and can cause false triggers. This is a hobby sensor, not a certified fire alarm, so do not rely on it for safety.
