Description

The 6pin Micro SD Card Module lets an Arduino or another microcontroller read and write files on a microSD (TF) card over the SPI bus. An on-board 3.3 V regulator and a logic level converter chip let you connect it straight to 5 V boards such as the Arduino Uno, Nano and Mega, so it is a simple choice for data loggers, sound and image storage and configuration files.

6pin Micro SD Card Module Specifications

  • Card type: microSD / TF card (card not included)
  • Interface: SPI
  • Pins: 6 – GND, VCC, MISO, MOSI, SCK and CS
  • Supply voltage: 4.5 V to 5.5 V, with an on-board 3.3 V regulator
  • Logic level: level converter chip between the 5 V pins and the 3.3 V card
  • File system: FAT16 / FAT32 with the Arduino SD library

6pin Micro SD Card Module Applications

  • Data loggers for temperature, GPS and other sensor readings
  • Storing sound files for Arduino audio players
  • Saving settings and logs in Arduino and ESP32 projects
  • Weather stations and energy monitors
  • School and university embedded systems labs

What's in the Box

  • 1 × 6-pin micro SD card module (memory card not included)

Tip: On an Arduino Uno, connect MOSI to pin 11, MISO to pin 12, SCK to pin 13 and CS to pin 10 (or the CS pin set in your sketch), and power the module from 5 V. Format the card as FAT32 before use; cards of 32 GB or less work best.
