7 segment 1.5" CA red 4 digit clock

The 7 segment 1.5" CA red 4 digit clock display is a large red LED display with four 7-segment digits, each about 1.5 inches (38 mm) tall, and a colon in the middle for showing hours and minutes. It uses a common anode (CA) configuration and is easy to read from across a room, which makes it a good fit for wall clocks, timers and scoreboards.

Tip: On a common anode display the common pins go to the positive supply, switched with PNP transistors when multiplexing, and each segment goes to the driver through its own current-limiting resistor. Large digits may use more than one LED per segment, so check the forward voltage and pinout on the datasheet before driving it from 5 V.
