7 segment 2.3" CC red

The 7 segment 2.3" CC red display is a large red LED 7-segment display with a digit height of 2.3 inches (about 58 mm). It uses a common cathode (CC) configuration, and its big, bright digits can be read from a long distance, making it a good fit for wall clocks, counters, scoreboards and panel meters.

Tip: Connect the common cathode to ground, or switch it with an NPN transistor when multiplexing, and drive each segment through its own resistor. Digits this size usually have several LEDs in series per segment and often need more than 5 V, so check the forward voltage first and use a transistor or driver IC when needed.
