BC546 Pack 5pcs

The BC546 is an NPN general-purpose silicon transistor in a TO-92 package, sold in a pack of 5. Its 65 V collector-emitter rating is higher than that of the BC547 and BC548, which makes it a good choice for small-signal amplifiers and switching circuits that run from higher supply voltages. It is widely used in Arduino projects, audio preamplifiers and repair work.

Tip: Always use a base resistor, for example 1 kΩ from a 5 V microcontroller pin, and keep the collector current below 100 mA. Add a flyback diode such as the 1N4148 or 1N4007 across any relay coil you switch with it.
