CMOS Quad Bilateral Switch CD4016

The CMOS Quad Bilateral Switch CD4016 contains four independent switches that pass analog or digital signals in both directions. Each switch has its own control input: a high level turns it on and a low level turns it off. It is used to route audio and sensor signals, select between inputs and build simple multiplexers controlled by logic gates or a microcontroller.
