DHT11 Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module

The DHT11 Temperature and Humidity Sensor module measures air temperature and relative humidity and sends both readings as a digital signal on a single data pin. It comes mounted on a small board, so it is easy to wire to an Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi, and ready-made libraries make it one of the simplest environmental sensors for beginners, classrooms and home projects.

Tip: Install the DHT sensor library in the Arduino IDE and read the sensor no more than once per second, as faster reads return errors. For temperatures below 0 °C or better accuracy, the DHT22 is the usual upgrade.
