DHT21/AM2301 Capacitive Digital Temperature & Humidity Sensor

The DHT21/AM2301 is a capacitive digital temperature and humidity sensor in a plastic housing with wire leads, ready to mount on a wall or inside an enclosure. It sends calibrated readings over a single data wire, so it connects to an Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi with only one pin. It covers a wider range than the DHT11, making it suitable for greenhouses, incubators and weather stations.

Tip: Add a 4.7 kΩ to 10 kΩ pull-up resistor between the data wire and VCC, and read the sensor no more than once every 2 seconds. In the Arduino DHT library, choose the DHT21 sensor type.
