DS1302 RTC Real Time Clock Module with Battery

The DS1302 RTC Real Time Clock Module keeps track of the time and date for your Arduino, ESP32 or other microcontroller project, and comes with a backup battery so the clock keeps running when the main power is off. It is based on the DS1302 timekeeping chip with a 32.768 kHz crystal and talks to the microcontroller over a simple 3-wire serial interface.

Tip: Set the time once from your code, then remove the set-time line so the clock is not reset at every restart. Keep the DS1302 trickle charger disabled unless the backup battery is rechargeable. Libraries such as RtcDS1302 make it easy to use with Arduino.
