Dual D Flip Flop 7474

The Dual D Flip Flop 7474 is a 7400-series logic IC containing two independent positive-edge-triggered D-type flip-flops. On each rising edge of the clock, the level at the D input is stored and shown at the Q output, with its inverse at /Q. Each flip-flop also has active-LOW preset and clear inputs, which makes the 7474 a basic building block for counters, frequency dividers and registers.
