Description
The ECG/EKG/EMG Wire is an electrode lead cable that connects adhesive skin electrodes to a biopotential sensor module, such as the AD8232 ECG heart monitor or an EMG muscle sensor. It is the 3-lead cable with a 3.5 mm plug used by these modules, so it works as a spare or replacement cable for biomedical engineering students, labs and hobby projects with Arduino or ESP32.
ECG/EKG/EMG Wire Specifications
- Signals: ECG / EKG (heart) and EMG (muscle)
- Leads: 3, for two measuring electrodes and one reference electrode
- Module connector: 3.5 mm plug
- Electrode connectors: snap connectors for standard snap-stud electrodes
- Works with: AD8232 ECG modules and EMG sensor modules with a 3.5 mm jack
ECG/EKG/EMG Wire Applications
- AD8232 heart signal projects plotted on the Arduino Serial Plotter
- EMG muscle sensor projects, such as controlling a robotic hand
- Biomedical engineering labs and university projects
- Replacing a worn or lost cable from an ECG or EMG kit
What's in the Box
- 1 × ECG/EKG/EMG electrode lead cable (electrodes sold separately)
Tip: This cable is for learning and experiments, not medical diagnosis. Use fresh electrodes on clean, dry skin, keep still while measuring, and run the laptop on battery rather than mains while the electrodes are on the body.
