FSR RX-D2027 50kg

The FSR RX-D2027 50kg is a thin-film force sensing resistor (FSR) for loads up to 50 kg. Its resistance is very high when nothing presses on it and falls as the force on the sensing area increases, so a microcontroller can read pressure with just one extra resistor. It is a light, flat sensor for detecting presence, touch and relative force in seats, insoles, grippers and interactive projects.

Tip: Connect the FSR in series with a fixed resistor, such as 10 kΩ, between 5 V and GND and read the middle point with an analog pin. FSRs show relative force rather than exact weight; for accurate weighing use a load cell with an HX711.
