Description

The Grove Water Level Sensor 10cm for Arduino measures how high water rises along a 10 cm sensing strip. It uses a row of capacitive sensing pads and reports the level over I2C through a standard Grove connector, so it is easy to read from Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi projects. It suits water tanks, plant pots, aquariums and overflow alarms.

Grove Water Level Sensor 10cm Specifications

  • Measuring range: 0–10 cm
  • Sensing method: capacitive, 20 sensing pads (about 5 mm per step)
  • Interface: I2C via a 4-pin Grove connector
  • Supply voltage: 3.3 V or 5 V
  • Works with: Arduino, Seeeduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi with Grove adapters

Grove Water Level Sensor 10cm Applications

  • Water tank and reservoir level monitoring
  • Automatic plant watering systems
  • Aquarium and pet water bowl alerts
  • Overflow and leak detection
  • STEM and IoT classroom projects

What's in the Box

  • 1 × Grove Water Level Sensor (10 cm)

Tip: Mount the sensor vertically with the sensing strip in the water and keep the electronics and Grove connector at the top, above the highest water line. Connect it to an I2C Grove port, not an analog one.
