Description
The GY-45 MMA8452 module is a 3-axis digital accelerometer board built around the NXP (Freescale) MMA8452Q. It measures acceleration on the X, Y and Z axes with selectable ±2, ±4 or ±8 g ranges and sends 12-bit readings over I2C. Built-in motion, tap, free-fall and orientation detection can raise interrupts, so your Arduino or ESP32 does not have to poll the sensor all the time.

What's in the Box
- 1 × GY-45 MMA8452 3-axis accelerometer module
Tip: The MMA8452Q itself is a 3.3 V chip. If you use a 5 V Arduino, check whether your board has level shifting on SDA and SCL, and add a level converter if unsure. Run an I2C scanner sketch first to confirm the address before loading an MMA8452 library.
