HC-06 Bluetooth Bee Slave Module

The HC-06 Bluetooth Bee Slave Module is an HC-06 serial Bluetooth module on a board with the XBee (Bee) footprint. It plugs into XBee sockets, XBee shields and IO expansion boards, and gives an Arduino or other microcontroller a wireless serial link to a phone, tablet or PC without any Bluetooth programming: data sent to its UART simply comes out on the other side.

Tip: Supply the module with 3.3 V only; an XBee shield or socket normally provides this. Cross the serial lines (module TX to board RX, module RX to board TX). iPhones do not support classic Bluetooth serial links like this, so use an Android phone or a PC.
