HM-10 Bluetooth 4.0 Module

The HM-10 Bluetooth 4.0 Module is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) serial module based on the Texas Instruments CC2541 chip. It connects to a microcontroller through a simple UART serial link and lets an Arduino project exchange data with smartphones and tablets, including iPhones, which cannot connect to classic Bluetooth modules such as the HC-05 and HC-06.

Tip: The RXD pin uses 3.3 V logic, so feed it from a 5 V Arduino through a voltage divider, for example 1 kΩ and 2 kΩ. Connect with a BLE terminal app, because classic Bluetooth serial apps will not find the module.
