HY-SRF05 Ultrasonic sensors 5pin

The HY-SRF05 Ultrasonic sensor is a 5-pin distance measuring module that sends out a 40 kHz sound pulse and times the echo to find out how far away an object is. It uses the same Trig and Echo signals as the popular HC-SR04, so existing Arduino code and libraries work with it, and it is a favourite for obstacle-avoiding robots and level measurement projects.

Tip: Distance in cm is roughly the Echo pulse width in µs divided by 58. Leave the OUT pin unconnected for normal HC-SR04-style use, and on 3.3 V boards such as the ESP32 use a voltage divider on the Echo line, because it outputs 5 V.
