IC - TL072 Op Amp

The TL072 Op Amp is a dual low-noise operational amplifier with JFET inputs, giving you two independent op amps in one 8-pin IC. Its very high input impedance, low distortion and fast slew rate make it a favourite for audio preamps, guitar effects, active filters and sensor signal conditioning, running from split supplies such as ±12 V or ±15 V.

Tip: Connect V+ to pin 8 and V− to pin 4, and add 100 nF decoupling capacitors close to the supply pins. The TL072 is not a rail-to-rail part, so for single 5 V Arduino circuits a rail-to-rail op amp is a better choice.
