Mosfet Transistor IRF9610

The Mosfet Transistor IRF9610 is a P-channel power MOSFET in a TO-220 package, rated for -200 V and -1.8 A. Its high voltage rating and modest current make it suited to high-side switching of small loads, complementary audio amplifier stages with an N-channel partner such as the IRF610, and general switching in higher-voltage circuits.

Tip: For a P-channel MOSFET, connect the source to the positive supply and the load to the drain. It turns on when the gate is pulled about 10 V below the source and turns off when the gate is at the source voltage, so add a pull-up resistor from gate to source and use an NPN transistor to drive it from a microcontroller.
