Mosfet Transistor IRL3705

The Mosfet Transistor IRL3705 is a logic-level N-channel power MOSFET rated for 55 V with a very low on-resistance of about 10 mΩ. It switches fully on with a 5 V gate signal, so an Arduino can control high-current loads such as motors, heaters, LED strips and battery packs with little heat loss in the transistor. It comes in a TO-220 package for heatsink mounting.

Tip: The 89 A figure is a die rating at 25 °C case temperature; in practice the current is limited by the TO-220 leads, the wiring and the heatsink, so size them for your real load. Add a 100 Ω gate resistor and a 10 kΩ pull-down from gate to source.
