IRLZ44N N-Channel Mosfet 55V 47A TO-220 Transistor

The IRLZ44N N-Channel Mosfet is a logic-level power MOSFET rated for 55 V and 47 A in a TO-220 package. Its low gate threshold means it turns fully on with a 5 V gate signal, so an Arduino or other 5 V microcontroller can switch motors, LED strips, solenoids and heaters directly, without a separate gate driver.

Tip: Add a 100–220 Ω resistor in series with the gate and a 10 kΩ pull-down from gate to source so the MOSFET stays off at power-up. Fit a flyback diode across motors and solenoids, and use a heatsink when switching more than a few amps.
