LCD2004 IIC/I2C Blue Backlight

The LCD2004 IIC/I2C Blue Backlight is a 20-character by 4-line LCD module with an I2C adapter board fitted on the back. The I2C backpack cuts the wiring down to just 4 wires (power, ground, SDA and SCL), leaving your Arduino or ESP32 pins free for other parts. White characters on a blue backlight are easy to read, making it a good display for menus, sensor readings and status screens.

Tip: Use the LiquidCrystal_I2C library and run an I2C scanner sketch first to find the address. If the screen lights up but shows no text, turn the contrast potentiometer on the back slowly until the characters appear. On 3.3 V boards such as the ESP32, power the display from 5 V and use a level shifter on SDA and SCL if your board is not 5 V tolerant.
