LF33CV regulator 3.3V

The LF33CV regulator 3.3V is a fixed 3.3 V low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator from the LFxx series in a TO-220 package. It delivers up to 500 mA and needs only about 0.45 V of headroom, so it can make a steady 3.3 V from a 5 V supply or a small battery pack. Use it to power 3.3 V microcontrollers, sensors and radio modules.

Tip: With the printed side facing you, the pins from left to right are input, ground and output. The LF33 needs an output capacitor of at least 2.2 µF close to the pins to stay stable, plus about 100 nF on the input; add a heatsink if the voltage drop times the current is more than about 1 W.
