LM2596 DC-DC Step-down Adjustable voltage regulator with Cable

The LM2596 DC-DC Step-down adjustable voltage regulator lowers a higher DC voltage to the level your project needs, and this version comes with a cable for easy connection. Being a switching (buck) regulator, it wastes far less power as heat than a linear regulator, so it is ideal for running 5 V or 3.3 V boards from 12 V or 24 V supplies.
