Load Cell Half Bridge 50Kg

The Load Cell Half Bridge 50Kg is a strain gauge weight sensor rated for up to 50 kg. It contains half of a Wheatstone bridge and has three wires, so it is normally used in sets of two or four, wired together into a full bridge and read by an HX711 amplifier module. This is the same type of sensor used in the corners of bathroom scales, which makes it a good choice for DIY scales, weighing platforms and force measurement projects.

Tip: For a bathroom-style scale, use four cells, one in each corner, and wire them into a full bridge before connecting to the HX711. Mount each cell so the load presses on its centre while the outer edge is supported, leaving space underneath for it to flex, then calibrate with a known weight in your sketch.
