M8N GPS 8M external compass for APM Flight Controller

The M8N GPS 8M external compass module combines an M8N satellite positioning receiver and a magnetic compass in one unit for APM flight controllers. Mounted on a mast away from the motors and power wiring, it gives the flight controller accurate position and heading, which are needed for position hold, return to home and autonomous missions on drones, planes and rovers.

Tip: Mount the module on a GPS mast, as far as possible from motors, ESCs and power cables, facing the same forward direction as the flight controller. Calibrate the compass in Mission Planner and wait for a good satellite lock outdoors before the first flight.
