MLX90640ESF-BAA

The MLX90640ESF-BAA is a 32 × 24 pixel far-infrared thermal sensor array that measures the temperature of 768 points at once, so you can build a low-resolution thermal camera. The BAA version has a wide 110° × 75° field of view, and the sensor is factory calibrated and read over I²C, so it connects easily to an ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Teensy or other 3.3 V controller.

Tip: Power it from 3.3 V and use I²C pull-up resistors, or a breakout board that has them. Calculating temperatures from a full frame needs more RAM than an Arduino Uno has, so use an ESP32, Teensy, Raspberry Pi or similar board.
