Normally open vibration sensor module

The Normally open vibration sensor module detects shaking, knocks and vibration and turns them into a digital signal that a microcontroller can read. Its vibration switch stays open at rest and closes briefly when the module is moved or struck, so the output changes state each time vibration is detected. It is a low-cost way to add tamper, knock or motion alerts to Arduino and ESP32 projects.

Tip: Pulses from a vibration switch are very short, so read the output with an interrupt or poll it often, and add a short debounce in your code. Check the pin labels on the board (power, ground and signal) and power it at the same voltage as your microcontroller.
