PIR Motion Sensor Grove

The PIR Motion Sensor Grove module detects people and animals moving in front of it by sensing changes in infrared heat. It has a Grove connector, so it plugs into a Grove Base Shield or Grove-compatible board with one cable and no soldering, and its signal pin goes HIGH when motion is detected, which makes it easy to read with a single digital input.

Tip: Connect the module to a digital Grove port and read the SIG pin with digitalRead(); no library is needed. Give the sensor a short settling time after power-up, and keep it away from heaters, air vents and direct sunlight, which can cause false triggers.
