Platinum resistance heat resistance temperature probe PT1000 high precision temperature sensors

This platinum resistance temperature probe PT1000 is an RTD (resistance temperature detector) whose resistance rises steadily with temperature, starting from 1000 Ω at 0 °C. Platinum RTDs are known for accuracy, long-term stability and an almost linear response, and the higher 1000 Ω value of the PT1000 makes it less sensitive to lead-wire resistance than a PT100. It suits industrial controllers, heating systems and precise Arduino measurements.

Tip: For accurate readings use an RTD converter such as the MAX31865 set up for PT1000 (with a 4.3 kΩ reference resistor), or the PT1000 input of a temperature controller. Keep the measuring current low, around 0.1–0.3 mA, to avoid self-heating errors.
