Power MOSFET P60NF06 N-Channel 60V 60A

The Power MOSFET P60NF06 (STP60NF06) is an N-channel power MOSFET rated for 60 V and 60 A, in a TO-220 package. Its low on-resistance of 16 mΩ maximum keeps heat down when switching large currents, which makes it a good choice for DC motor control, 12 V and 24 V LED strips, inverters, battery systems and DC-DC converters.

Tip: The P60NF06 is not a logic-level MOSFET: it needs about 10 V on the gate to reach its rated on-resistance, so use a gate driver or a transistor stage when controlling it from a 5 V or 3.3 V microcontroller. Add a 10 kΩ pull-down from gate to source, and a flyback diode across motors and coils.
