Quad D-type Flip Flop IC 74175

The Quad D-type Flip Flop IC 74175 is a 74-series logic chip with four positive-edge-triggered D flip-flops that share a common clock and a common clear input. On each rising clock edge, the level at each D input is stored and appears at its Q output, with the inverted value at the matching Q̄ output. Tip: Keep the CLR pin (pin 1) HIGH for normal operation by tying it to 5 V or a pull-up resistor, and connect unused D inputs to a fixed level. Place a 100 nF ceramic capacitor between pins 16 and 8, close to the chip.
