Quad NAND (2 input) 7400

The Quad NAND (2 input) 7400 is a classic 7400-series logic IC with four independent 2-input NAND gates in one 14-pin package. Each gate gives a LOW output only when both of its inputs are HIGH. Because any other logic function can be built from NAND gates alone, the 7400 is a staple of digital electronics courses, lab kits and hobby circuits.
