RS485 CAN Hat

The RS485 CAN Hat is an add-on board for the Raspberry Pi that adds two industrial communication interfaces, CAN bus and RS485, through the 40-pin GPIO header. It lets a Raspberry Pi talk to PLCs, Modbus RTU sensors and meters, motor drivers and CAN-based devices, so it is a good fit for industrial monitoring, automation and automotive data projects.

Tip: Enable SPI and the serial port in raspi-config before use, then wire CAN_H to CAN_H, CAN_L to CAN_L, and RS485 A to A and B to B. Both buses need a 120 Ω termination resistor at each end of the cable.
