Servo MG996R 13KG 360 Degree

The Servo MG996R 13KG 360 Degree is the continuous rotation version of the popular MG996R metal-gear servo. Instead of moving to a set angle, it turns all the way round, and the control pulse sets its speed and direction. That makes it a simple geared drive motor for robot wheels, conveyors and winches that can be controlled straight from an Arduino or ESP32 servo signal.

Tip: Power the servo from a separate 5–6 V supply that can deliver about 2.5 A and connect its ground to the Arduino ground; do not run it from the Arduino 5 V pin. If it creeps at the stop signal, adjust the stop value in code, for example a few steps either side of write(90).
