TEC1-12706 12706 TEC Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier

The TEC1-12706 is a 40 × 40 mm thermoelectric cooler (Peltier module) that pumps heat from one ceramic face to the other when DC current flows through it. One side gets cold while the other gets hot, so it can cool or heat with no moving parts, refrigerant or noise. It is widely used in DIY mini fridges, drink coolers, dehumidifiers and temperature control projects.

Tip: Always mount the hot side on a heatsink with a fan and thermal paste before powering it; without one the module overheats within seconds and can be damaged. Use a 12 V supply rated for at least 6 A, and note that reversing the polarity swaps the hot and cold sides.
