TFMini-S - Micro LiDAR Module.

The TFMini-S is a compact single-point LiDAR distance sensor from Benewake. It measures distance with an infrared light source using the time-of-flight principle, giving fast and stable readings from 10 cm up to 12 m in a module small enough for drones, robots and smart devices. It outputs data over UART or I2C, so it connects easily to Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and flight controllers.

Tip: Power the sensor from 5 V but remember its UART lines use 3.3 V logic. Cross the connections (sensor TX to board RX, sensor RX to board TX) and share ground. Very dark, shiny or transparent targets and strong sunlight reduce the usable range.
