Transistor - 2N7000

The 2N7000 is a small N-channel enhancement-mode MOSFET in a TO-92 package. It switches loads up to 60 V and 200 mA with almost no gate current, which makes it ideal for driving LEDs, small relays and buzzers from microcontroller pins, and for simple logic level shifting between 3.3 V and 5 V circuits.

Tip: Add a 10 kΩ pull-down resistor from gate to source so the MOSFET stays off when the microcontroller pin is floating. At 3.3 V gate drive it may not turn fully on, so keep loads small, and fit a flyback diode across relay coils.
