V5.0 Sensor Shield

The V5.0 Sensor Shield is an expansion board that plugs on top of an Arduino Uno and turns every digital and analog pin into a 3-pin header with GND, VCC and signal. Sensors, servos and modules then connect with a single 3-wire cable instead of a breadboard full of jumper wires, which keeps robots and multi-sensor projects neat and reliable.

• Compatible boards: Arduino Uno and boards with the same header layout
• Digital I/O: D0–D13 broken out as G-V-S 3-pin headers
• Analog inputs: A0–A5 as G-V-S 3-pin headers
• External power: screw terminal for a separate servo supply, with a selection jumper
• Extra interfaces: headers for I2C, Bluetooth/serial, APC220 wireless, ultrasonic sensor, SD card module and LCD

What's in the Box

• 1 × V5.0 sensor shield (Arduino board not included)

Tip: Servos can draw more current than the Arduino's 5 V regulator can supply, so power them from the external terminal and check the selection jumper so the servo supply and the Arduino supply are set the way you intend. On each 3-pin header, G is GND, V is VCC and S is the signal.
