Waterproof Ultrasound Sensor JSN-SR04T

The Waterproof Ultrasound Sensor JSN-SR04T measures distance with 40 kHz ultrasonic pulses, like the popular HC-SR04, but its transducer is a sealed waterproof probe connected to the control board by a long cable. That makes it a good choice for water tank level meters, outdoor projects and car parking sensors where moisture and dust would damage an open sensor.

Tip: Mount the probe at least 25 cm above the highest water level, because objects closer than the minimum range are not measured reliably. With a 3.3 V board such as the ESP32, power the sensor from 5 V and reduce the Echo signal with a voltage divider.
