Grove 125KHz RFID Reader

The Grove 125KHz RFID Reader is a low-frequency RFID module that reads the ID number of 125 kHz cards, key fobs and tags. It sends the tag ID to your microcontroller over a simple UART serial link or in Wiegand format, and its Grove connector plugs straight into a Grove shield, so you can build door access systems, attendance logs and inventory trackers with an Arduino or similar board.

Tip: This reader works only with 125 kHz tags; 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards need an RC522 or PN532 reader instead. Keep the antenna away from metal surfaces, which shorten the read distance.
